About The Position

The Research Analyst II position at the Center for Advanced Hindsight (CAH) at Duke University is a mid-level research role focused on behavioral science. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a social science or related field.
  • 3-6 years of research experience since earning a bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with research processes and some familiarity with statistics.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral science principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead research studies, including conducting literature reviews and generating hypotheses.
  • Contribute to study designs and ensure studies are conducted with fidelity.
  • Conduct data analysis and draw conclusions from study results under supervision.
  • Draft manuscripts for academic publication and popular press as needed.
  • Write IRB applications for research studies.
  • Program studies in Qualtrics and create study materials such as mailers and prompts.
  • Train research experimenters or coordinators and manage participant recruitment.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors and partners, ensuring expectations are met.
  • Provide project management to ensure timely delivery of project components.
