About The Position

The Research Analyst I - Formulations position at Charles River Laboratories involves preparing, sampling, and dispensing formulated test materials in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GxP) guidelines. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The analyst will communicate effectively with management and team members, assist with troubleshooting formulation issues, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with 0-6 months of relevant experience; contract research organization experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with no experience; contract research organization experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Computer skills, including the ability to learn a validated system.
• Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extra shifts on short notice.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a contract research organization.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
