The Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) at the University of Kentucky is seeking a Research Administrator Senior, specifically a Senior Subaward Administrator. The OSPA administers over $330 million in extramural funding, providing essential services to faculty and staff across the university. These services encompass advice on budget preparation, proposal submission, award negotiation, and compliance with sponsor policies and regulations. The successful candidate will act as the administrative liaison between the university and various sponsor agencies, audit entities, and university personnel, ensuring that all subaward agreements are drafted, negotiated, and administered in accordance with university policies and state laws. In this position, the Senior Subaward Administrator will be responsible for reviewing sponsor guidelines and awards, drafting subaward agreements, and providing post-award administrative guidance. The role requires a deep understanding of complex regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
