The Application Systems Analyst II is responsible for supporting research information systems as part of the Graduate and Research IT (GRIT) team in the Office of Research. Primary responsibilities include supporting the university’s cloud-based electronic research administration system, the Huron Research Suite (HRS). The analyst serves as a liaison between various stakeholders, including business users, management, IT teams, and the vendor, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. In this position, you will provide systems administration and support by managing help desk tickets submitted by end-users reporting system issues and/or submitting enhancement requests. You will also be responsible for supporting system upgrades. The analyst should have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively interact with multiple groups of business stakeholders with differing priorities. This position will also collaborate with GRIT’s Reporting and Analytics team to create and manage reports for business stakeholders (Please note this is not a data analyst position).
