Emergency TAR Staff are on‑call, staff‑level employees who provide immediate coverage during emergent staffing needs. When activated, Emergency TAR Staff function in a role comparable to a Residential Psychiatric Technician (RPT) and are assigned to cottages as needed to ensure the safety, supervision, and continuity of care for residents. Emergency TAR Staff work under the direct guidance of the designated In‑Charge Person for the shift and are expected to follow all program policies, procedures, and treatment protocols while providing supervision and support consistent with the Teaching‑Family Model and trauma‑informed care principles.
