About The Position

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Requirements Management Co-Op in Richland, WA. This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD). The Requirements Management Co-Op will support the Requirements Management team in ensuring project requirements are defined, documented, tracked, and managed throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers exposure to a variety of engineering, technical, and regulatory projects within a highly regulated environment. The Co-Op will gain practical experience in requirements processes, document control, and compliance tracking.

Requirements

  • A U.S. citizen.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • An active full-time student during the two semesters/quarters immediately preceding the assignment.
  • Maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) during their college enrollment.
  • Students at Washington State University, Tri-Cities (WSU-TC), Columbia Basin College (CBC), or any online students living locally who are enrolled in a degree program that relates to Navarro-ATL’s and Hanford’s cleanup mission

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and organizing project requirements from stakeholders.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of requirements documentation within database.
  • Participate in requirements review meetings, taking notes and updating records as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices for requirements management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
