About The Position

As a Sales Consultant Specialist at AssetMark, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team as they build and nurture new client relationships. You will facilitate opportunities to increase productivity by supplementing the efforts of our ensemble teams and engaging with our advisors on various needs as they arise. The total compensation for this role includes base plus a competitive sales incentive plan target as detailed below.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance field
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Active FINRA licenses: Series 6, 63, and 65 and/or 7 and 66 are required
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered

  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to foster a supportive environment and work independently with self-motivation
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage pipelines and territories effectively
  • Experienced in evaluating managed money platforms and investment solutions

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary sales point of contact for escalated service-related issues, as well as a backup resource when sales team members are unavailable
  • Build relationships with advisors through personalized engagement aimed at helping advisors understand platform nuances and identify opportunities for advisors to better engage with AssetMark
  • Proactively communicate with advisors and ask insightful questions to identify additional needs and highlight expanded partnership opportunities
  • Keep up to date with relevant investment information, including platform updates, marketing materials, operational changes, industry news, and market events
