About The Position

Perform necessary functions to ensure medical devices are reprocessed using methods of cleaning, decontamination, inspection, and packaging.

Requirements

• Condition to employment is passing Reprocessing Qualification Test
• Participate in all required safety training and demonstrate proficiency using all required personal protective equipment (PPE). PPE requirements are defined in applicable procedures an are mandatory.
• Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• PPE must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities

• Received and verify incoming devices against bill of lading, packing list, invoices, or other records.
• Clean, decontaminate and disinfect devices, equipment, tools and surfaces using appropriate PPE, defined methods, tools, and chemical solutions.
• Ability to inspect devices both visually and utilizing a microscope to detect soiling (bodily fluids, organic or inorganic debris) and damage to the device electrode body.
