About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive new business development with a strategic and consultative sales approach. Maintain and grow existing key accounts to maximize revenue potential. Achieve and exceed annual sales and margin goals. Provide accurate sales forecasts for budgeting and planning purposes. Fully develop assigned territory to capture all potential sales opportunities. Conduct impactful on-site customer presentations and product demonstrations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at all customer levels. Promote value-added services and customized solutions that differentiate the Samuel organization. Grow existing customer business by introducing new products and service offerings. Responsible for customer inventory management to align with business needs and service levels. Educate customers with timely industry insights and market trends to assist with customer decisions. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Continuously works to develop and enhance product knowledge and sales techniques through ongoing education and training. Travel regularly within the assigned territory to maintain strong customer engagement (up to 20%). Perform additional related duties as required or assigned. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 10 years sales experience required. College degree preferred but not required if experience supersedes. Experience in the metals industry is required. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines. Must be a self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision. Able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, communicate and solve problems. Team player with a strong sense of accountability and integrity. Must be willing to travel 20-30 percent of the time. EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role primarily involves office-based work Ability to safely visit and evaluate the production facility which may include climbing stairs, wearing required PPE, following safety local safety protocols, standing, stooping for extended periods of time.
