About The Position

The Representative HME Intake position is responsible for receiving and responding to inquiries and orders from physicians, patients, and other referral sources. The role involves answering incoming calls, initiating order intake for walk-in patients, and closing out each day's activities through the storefront. The representative must be knowledgeable about products and services, handle inventory and tracking responsibilities, and provide excellent customer service to all patients, guests, and family members. Additional responsibilities include after-hours calls, trans filling, and deliveries.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent GED.
• Three years of experience in a hospital business office or equivalent such as a physician's or insurance office.
• Two years Home Medical Equipment Billing experience preferred.
• Computer, communication, office equipment, and transcription skills required.
• Medical accounts billing experience desirable.
