About The Position
As a member of the Guest Experience Team, the Ticket Booth Representative ensures guests have a positive experience by providing support in the ticket booth by enforcing departmental standards and policies.
Requirements
- High school graduate or G.E.D.
- Customer handling experience desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer experience required (Microsoft Office products)
- Physical ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and seasonal evening hours
- Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Interact courteously with guests in person
- Assist guests with booking tickets
- Answer general garden questions
- Maintain and enforce basic Dallas Arboretum policies
- Escalate concerns or advanced questions, as appropriate, in a timely manner
- Perform other duties, as assigned
