About The Position

About this job: Serve as the account manager between the Office of Choice & Enrollment Services and schools, inclusive of traditional schools, magnet schools, and charter schools within their assigned region. Responsible for communication, processing and tuition information during the school year by working with schools, parents/guardians and other central district departments. Area of responsibility will be focused on a DPS region and/or school type. What You'll Do: Responsible for the entire enrollment and application process, including application, and communication within assigned region. Utilizing enrollment, waitlist, and trend data, assign students to appropriate schools throughout the various cycles of the year. Serve as the main point of contact for schools and parents/guardians to ensure timely and accurate enrollment. Ensure completeness and accuracy of data processing for District and external funding sources. Meet financial targets for tuition based revenue (parent and tuition credit billing). Uphold a high level of parent communication, including letters, community events, school events, and verbal/written communications. Manage the escalation process to raise and resolve issues in a timely manner. Serve as the subject matter expert for District enrollment policies and procedures including, school boundaries, Office of Choice & Enrollment Services, Early Education programs, and schools and programs within assigned region. Plan, control, and organize tasks for all assigned schools, to ensure compliance with application processing needs and goal Maintain both the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information. Manage the waitlist process for assigned schools and work with schools to keep schools filled to capacity Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED - Required
  • Two (2) years of work experience in education, enrollment or application processing - Required
  • Three (3) years of work experience in account management. - Required
  • Strong planning, organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and skill with all Google products including docs, sheets, slides and gmail.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines
  • The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance
