About The Position

SUMMARYThe mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. A Shipping Clerk works with management during the order selection shift.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Researches problem locations in order to prevent product shortage Creates pallet moves to fill selection locations Releases created reselect assignments Communicates issues to supervision Verifies accuracy of load diagrams Prepare shipping documents prior to truck departure from warehouse Perform load close process to release the store order for shipment Coordinate truck departure with Dispatch Verify and retain shipment records containing routing details Responsible for order processing claims All other duties as assigned Our Company does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, affection or sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, liability for military service, status as a veteran, gender identity or expression, genetic information, pregnancy, and any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Flexibility and willingness to work weekend is a must
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
Possess basic computer skills
Possess strong communication skills, organization, adaptability and problem solving
1-year experience in a similar capacity
