About The Position

At NASCAR, you will find a community of passionate individuals who care about our sport and are united in seeing it grow. The NASCAR Consumer Services Center is seeking a Consumer Services Representative with previous call center experience for a full-time shift opening.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid data entry and proficient computer skills
  • Must work well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours – evening, weekends and holidays required
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • Problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Working knowledge of the internet
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including credit check

Nice To Haves

  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster ticketing system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls from customers seeking to purchase advanced race tickets as well as general and/or account inquiries
  • Responsible for product upselling including packages and hospitality options
  • Staying up to date on relevant information across all NASCAR properties
  • Accurately process payments via credit cards
  • Professionally handle fan/customer inquiries
  • Make outbound sales calls, as needed
  • Assist internet customers with account inquiries and online purchases
  • Outbound calls responding to post race surveys
  • Other duties as assigned
