Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate of Arts/Science degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years repossession experience in consumer, direct and indirect auto loans required.
  • Excellent telephonic communication, negotiation, and analytical skills needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve problems quickly and provide accurate information regarding specific circumstances.
  • Ability to convey facts in a professional, clear, and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain courteous in pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Make contact with all responsible parties on high risk/high balance loans through telephonic or written communication to determine the cause for delinquency.
  • Provide analysis and feedback to supervisor regarding appropriate actions necessary to protect the interests of the Credit Union.
  • Assist with training of new employees and departmental training as needed.
