Reporting Developers will leverage the skills such as collaborating with aircraft technical experts to create SQL/Python queries, data modeling, and dashboards that extract, analyze, and visualize data from the Aircraft Health and Trend Monitoring System (AHTMS) in Databricks. Primary responsibility is to the Reliability and Performance Analytics program by transforming raw aircraft health data into actionable insights that decrease aircraft downtime and prevent aircraft on ground events. This is not a remote work position. Relocation required. Highly analytical and process-oriented with in-depth knowledge of data research methodologies, data manipulation, and visualization Position Purpose : This is a data and analytics development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the Enterprise Reporting team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream Enterprise Reporting applications. Responsible for developing requirements, solution development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting solutions.

Requirements

Highly analytical and process-oriented with in-depth knowledge of data research methodologies, data manipulation, and visualization
High Proficient technical skills in: Power BI, DAX
SQL experience required; Extract and transform data from internal databases using Power Query
MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio experience required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
3 years relevant business/technical experience.
Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.

Nice To Haves

Proficient technical skills in: Python highly desired, SharePoint, MATLAB, Databricks experience preferred.
Skilled in analyzing and converting data into actionable insights required
Create and maintain shared document libraries for multiple teams within MS SharePoint

Responsibilities

Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
Assists with defining test conditions and comprehensive test plans.
Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
Under general supervision prepares requirements, specifications, and business process maps.
Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.
Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities.
Participates in design reviews for implementation projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
