The Reporting Analyst will partner with the Strategic Sourcing team to assess reporting needs and deliver effective data driven solutions. In this role, you will design and deliver high impact Power BI dashboards, modernize legacy reporting, and collaborate closely with Strategic Sourcing stakeholders. You will work hands on with Workday, Power BI, and Excel to produce best in class reporting products that support operational excellence. Analyze reporting needs, available data, and retrieval methods to develop reporting systems that meet departmental requirements. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑quality Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business and stakeholder needs. Manage and assign ad hoc reporting requests. Oversee the design and development of new reporting processes. Serve as a technical resource for the division. Implement and manage automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Integrate reporting tools and platforms to ensure seamless data flow across systems. Utilize Workday and Power BI to develop and enhance enterprise reporting capabilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in health insurance, financial, or actuarial fields using statistics and programming applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in business reporting and analytics using Power BI, Workday, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a Windows environment.
  • Working knowledge of internet and intranet applications.
  • Strong proficiency with Workday and Power BI
  • Horizon BCBSNJ employees must live in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or Delaware

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred experience working with Horizon BCBSNJ systems.
  • Knowledge of Horizon BCBSNJ products and file structures.
