About The Position

This position is open to work remotely. The role involves working collaboratively with clients and internal staff to develop requirements for both regular and ad-hoc reporting. The successful candidate will ensure that requests are valid, handled by the appropriate team member, and that reports are developed and reviewed to provide the highest quality of data to clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in providing high level administrative support or related experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with clients and set appropriate expectations.
  • Ability to use effective judgment and prior experience to troubleshoot common issues.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology.
  • Ability to remain organized with multiple interruptions.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills to assist in solving routine problems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work well with a variety of individuals.
  • Ability to work well independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Access, etc.), programming, and/or data mining management.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring frequent report generation.
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience in providing high level administrative support in a technological environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise system.
  • Basic understanding of SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Set expectations with clients on the organization’s delivery of reports.
  • Track common data requests to provide feedback on the need for specific standard reports and minimize requests for custom reports.
  • Confirm report requirements with internal staff responsible for report generation as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external resources to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Track incoming report requests from clients and the status of design and delivery.
  • Act as an expert in requirement gathering for reports and client needs.
  • Meet with new employees involved in reporting to communicate responsibilities and timelines.
  • Ensure all reports are created and reviewed according to agreed timelines.
  • Ensure automated reports are completed and communicate with staff for review of report accuracy.
  • Coordinate with team members to determine report accuracy and provide feedback to Data Analyst.
  • Maintain a master list of required reports by client, including deadlines and responsible individuals.
  • Develop and maintain instructions on how to run routine reports for internal and external use.
  • Deliver client reports per requested method of delivery in a timely and accurate manner.
