Senior Friendship Centers is seeking a detail-driven, analytical, and tech-savvy Report Writer to support a high-priority data integration project. This is a temporary, 5/6-month, position where you’ll transform complex data into clear, actionable reports that help drive better decision-making across our organization. Your work will directly support a mission that improves lives across our region. This is a temporary position working 40-hours a week until project completion - about 5 to 6 months. This job can be done completely remote after orientation and initial training. This role is a perfect match for someone who isn't looking for something long-term and is organized, analytical, highly detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Meets with the Application Administrator and Systems Engineer to understand the reporting needs.
  • Collecting and interpreting complex data.
  • Creating templates for future use.
  • Presenting and explaining findings to the team.
  • Ensuring reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintaining a record of original data and any changes made.
  • Providing technical support to the team when necessary.
  • Report any incident of abuse or neglect as mandated by state guidelines.
  • Must comply with HIPAA regulations and OSHA laws and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills with a knowledge of databases.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to the needs of the organization.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all staff, clients, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Must be friendly, flexible, able to handle challenges, and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Report Writer, Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and databases, including SQL and Excel.
  • Satisfactory clearance of a fingerprint-based, level II background screening and pre-employment substance abuse testing are required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
