About The Position

The Report Editing and Case Document Coordinator at DJS Associates Inc. is responsible for reviewing, organizing, managing, and maintaining legal documents produced by and received for the experts. Requirements

  • Paralegal or legal administrative experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation and processes.
  • Solid command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Familiarity with proofreading and editing best practices.
  • Experience reviewing technical or expert-written content for clarity, flow, and accuracy preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and database systems for documentation management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and organize data efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in legal administrative roles for at least 1 year (Preferred).
  • Paralegal experience for at least 1 year (Preferred).
  • Document review experience for at least 1 year (Preferred).
  • Proofreading experience for at least 1 year (Preferred).
  • Paralegal Certificate (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Review documents for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, consistency, and style.
  • Ensure expert-written reports are clear, accurate, logical, and easy to understand for the intended audience.
  • Apply standard proofreading marks and prepare electronic markups.
  • Implement updates and changes to documents as directed and verify revisions for accuracy.
  • Obtain, organize, update, and securely save all required internal and external information for cases.
  • Manage case data effectively, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality.
  • Ensure all case documentation is clear, complete, up-to-date, and stored in compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Assist with managing deadlines, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, providing clear, concise, and accurate updates as required.
  • Collaborate with the case management team on document production, preparation, and organization.
  • Assist with digesting, analyzing, and organizing case data and information to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Log all work and status updates into a database in a comprehensive, clear, and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that documentation aligns with company standards, legal requirements, and client expectations.
  • Interact with experts, case managers, and other team members regarding timelines, specific requirements, and content clarity.
  • Provide timely feedback and support team members in delivering high-quality work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
