About The Position

The position involves leading and supporting inventory management and merchandising standards and maintenance at a retail store in Anderson, SC. The primary goal is to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store for customers, while delivering friendly customer service. Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. The role also includes managing truck processes, executing planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs.

Requirements

  • Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Company programs.
  • Ensure execution of Company policies and standards.
  • Hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
  • Manage and support the truck processes.
  • Lead teams to ensure standards are met and achieve KPIs.
  • Manage, execute and support the planogram process (POG's) to standard.
  • Manage, execute and support the AD set processes.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Maintain seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, observing, and training of new team members.
  • Support Talent Development activities and participate in Performance Management activities.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
