About The Position

Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos and Airheads!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Replenishment Manager to join our growing team. Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, the Replenishment Manager will be customer-facing and customer-influencing working closely with the Sales team as well as Perfetti Van Melle Supply Chain teams to maintain customer relationships, KPIs and oversee all replenishment functions, while managing the projects and analytics needed to identify opportunities to drive growth and efficiencies through the end-to-end supply chain. The Replenishment Manager will also be a key point of contact with the customer’s Replenishment & Supply Chain teams for all store and DC replenishment issues, strategies, and initiatives to provide analytical support to deliver service levels, forecast accuracy, fine reduction, and customer KPIs. This newly created position will be responsible for supply chain specific activities supporting Walmart and Sam’s Club.

Requirements

• BS/BA required.
• 5-7 years’ experience within Product Supply, Supply Chain, or Customer Management for Walmart/Sam’s Club.
• Previous customer facing experience in a CPG Supply Chain, Customer Service, or Sales role(s).
• Retail link/ Madrid 2.0 experience.
• Aptitude to work within core and PC based system applications (SAP, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Item 360, Scintilla knowledge, and e-commerce supply chain experience.
• Proven success working independently.
• E-commerce experience preferred.
• Analytical skills/abilities to analyze data from various systems to get to opportunity/root cause.
• Fundamental supply chain understanding.
• Strong relationship development skills.
• Excellent administrative, written, and verbal skills.
• Goal focused, driven to execute, and persuasive.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25%.

• E-commerce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive channel defined DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing) initiatives to achieve area sales objectives within assigned geography.
• Manage associated business systems to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategy implementation.
• Conduct customer planning to ensure alignment with channel direction.
• Manage interactions with customers to identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities; resolve problems with key customers to ensure that they receive the highest quality customer service.
• Analyze large quantities of data to help the Supply Chain Team, Demand Planners and Sales Team make decisions that drive value and identify inventory issues both internally and with the customer.
• Establish a full understanding of customer requirements at all levels and ensure PVM is regarded as a preferred partner to accounts.
• Oversee PVM inventory and service level/in-stock position to ensure smooth flow of merchandise into and out of DCs, stores and online.
• Display knowledge of product performance and development to define the product that is valuable to the business; understand application of product offerings in a variety of customer environments, effectively define and plan the optimal category mix to drive category through a second balance between assortments, price points and gross margin.
• Translate market insights into successful value propositions that meet the future needs of customers (consumers, shoppers), build on the brand foundation, with a flexible approach and taking into consideration and adapting to commercial changes in needs and in market trends, in line with the business strategy.
• Must work with a high degree of energy and effort to proactively investigate and pursue business opportunities at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
