About The Position

The Put Away / Replenishment Lead is responsible for coordinating all daily activities related to inbound inventory put-away, storage optimization, and replenishment of active pick locations. This role provides direct workflow support to the Logistics Operations Supervisors and Inventory Team Lead and ensures accurate inventory placement, timely replenishment, and efficient material movement throughout the facility. The Lead assists with training, documentation, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the operational area.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics operations.
  • Experience with put-away, replenishment, or inventory tasks.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Previous experience in a lead, senior, or mentor role.
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems; SAP/S/4HANA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Put-Away Operations: Oversee and assign daily put-away tasks, ensuring product is stored in correct locations according to company standards, slotting rules, and FIFO/FEFO guidelines. Validate inbound product labels, quantities, and documentation to ensure accurate system transactions. Monitor bin integrity and coordinate with Inventory Team Lead to resolve discrepancies.
  • Replenishment Operations: Manage system-generated replenishment queues to ensure pick locations remain fully stocked according to established minimum/maximum thresholds. Prioritize replenishment tasks to prevent workflow interruptions. Conduct audits on replenishment activities to confirm documentation accuracy.
  • Leadership & Training: Provide daily direction, support, and guidance to warehouse associates. Assist with onboarding and training related to equipment operation, safety procedures, and system processes. Serve as a point of contact for operational questions, issue resolution, and escalation. Plus additional duties as assigned by Logistics Supervisors
  • Systems & Process Control: Execute and monitor transactions in WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP/S/4HANA). Identify and report slotting improvements or process inefficiencies. Provide daily productivity and performance feedback.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety rules and equipment standards. Ensure aisles, storage locations, and equipment areas remain clean and hazard-free. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
