About The Position

The Replenishment Planner is responsible for driving inventory strategy and execution across assigned product categories — ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a full understanding of the product flow from data analysis and purchase order placement to delivery at the customer level. The ideal candidate combines strategic insight with hands-on execution to optimize service levels, inventory efficiency, and supplier performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years experience in inventory management, purchasing, replenishment planning, or supply chain operations (food industry experience a plus)
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of logistical concepts and supply chain processes
  • Proven experience of staying organized in a fast paced working environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute replenishment strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting customer demand and company objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze data related to sales trends, forecasts, inventory positions, lead times, and supplier performance to make proactive purchasing decisions.
  • Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery from suppliers through to customer fulfillment.
  • Consider product shelf life and shelf life requirements in purchasing and inventory decisions to ensure product quality and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, and Product teams to align inventory strategies with promotional plans, new product launches, and customer requirements.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues, including backorders, shortages, or delays, while communicating status and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and maintain supplier relationships, tracking performance metrics for delivery, service, and pricing to support continuous improvement and strong partnerships.
