Union Supply Group has an immediate opening for a Replenishment Buyer - Perishable food products/items. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor item level demand planning and inventory management for multiple DC’s. Review and adjust mix/max on a weekly basis. Create, distribute, adjust, and monitor Purchase Orders. Maintain fill rate to ensure service level goals. Research root cause of service level issues and remedy to allow for continuous supply. Closely communicate with vendors and work internally to resolve any vendor issues. Responsible for new item setup and item maintenance, ensuring data integrity. Minimize waste and overstock. Work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Interact effectively across all internal departments to achieve strategic objectives. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong sense of urgency & ability to successfully manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work & learn quickly in a changing & fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational & time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).

Responsibilities
