About The Position

Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Replenisher to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. This position will be using RF device and be required to pick customer orders among other duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• Warehouse experience is highly preferred
• Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously including over head
• Able to stand on feet for entire shift
• Able to use RF scanner
• Able to use pallet jack
• Able to work independently
• Flexible to picking replenishment regarding ASAP orders
• Able to follow all safety policies and procedures
• Able to effectively communicate when needed
• Overtime as needed (both voluntary and mandatory)

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience is highly preferred
• High School Diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Using RF device, employee will be required to pick customer orders for Split Case replenishment via supervisor’s direction
• Use of pallet jack
• Complete work assignments accurately and timely
• Able to operate a rider jack and stacker
• Perform moves, cycle counts, pack out and re-box excess stock weekly
• Able to work independently as well as with other coworkers when needed in specific areas
• Take direction from different leads when working in other areas of split case
• Other duties as assigned
