About The Position

We are seeking a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead our Retail/Replacement Sales Team in the NC Triad market. This role directly supervises Sales Representatives, Inside Sales, and is fully accountable for team performance, market growth, and customer experience. This is not a desk job. The majority of your time will be spent in the field — coaching, developing, motivating, and holding your team accountable to performance standards. Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful consumer direct sales experience
  • 1+ year of in-home sales management experience
  • Window, door, or building products sales preferred
  • Proven ability to coach sales process and drive measurable results
  • Strong metric-driven leadership style
  • Comfortable leading from the front and holding teams accountable
  • Organized, systems-minded, and tech proficient

Responsibilities

  • Full staffing and performance of the NC Triad Replacement Sales team
  • Field coaching and development of in-home sales professionals
  • Driving key sales metrics including volume, close %, yield per opportunity, average order size, discount control, and customer satisfaction
  • Managing showroom performance and lead conversion execution
  • Ensuring proper opportunity flow, follow-up, and reporting accuracy (ACE / Pella Direct systems)
  • Accounts receivable oversight and customer issue resolution
  • Monthly and annual reporting, budget development, and market business planning
  • Personal production performance when needed to maintain lead times
