What You Will Be Doing: Investigate, evaluate, and settle automobile material damage claims. Determine coverage and liability, set reserves, and negotiate settlements within authority and in accordance with company procedures, policy provisions, and legal obligations. Requirements

Requires excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Superior skills in negotiation, communication and customer service are required.
Ability to learn on-the-job and through claims training courses of insurance policy coverage analysis and interpretation, and motor vehicle estimating.
Must exhibit strong skills in technology to include keyboarding and familiarity with word processing software, electronic communications, automobile estimating software, and internet research capabilities.
Requires good basic but advancing knowledge of automobile repair.
Will be required to acquire and maintain state licenses as applicable.
For remote adjusters: must have high-speed internet access at home to support internal systems.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two years general business experience is preferred in an insurance setting, demonstrating experience in organization, communication, negotiation, and decision-making.
