About The Position
The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring that products are accurately packed, labeled, and stored. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Key responsibilities include unloading and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, verifying the quantity and condition of goods received against packing slips and purchase orders, and reporting any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse, conducting regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy, and assisting in inventory reconciliation and adjustments as needed. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate will pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications, ensuring all orders are labeled correctly and include the necessary documentation. Coordination with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of orders is also a key part of this role. The position requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and organize products, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment while following all safety guidelines and participating in safety training sessions.
