About The Position

The Repair Technician, reporting to the Service/Production Manager, is directly responsible for disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling various pumps.

This role will also test equipment sent in for repairs, troubleshooting pump and system issues and repairing equipment.

Requirements

• Advanced, demonstrable mechanical aptitude.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Proven ability to successfully troubleshoot.
• Ability to pass Mechanical Aptitude test.
• Valid driver’s license with a record that allows you to be covered by company insurance.
• 3 plus years of repair experience on wide variety of process equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working at Customer sites.
• Hydraulic equipment maintenance or repair experience.
• Associates degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Repair, tear down and clean any type of pump or pump system.
• Receive repairs, determine cause of failure, list repair components, pull parts from stock, repair equipment, test for effectiveness and document in an e-pair log.
• Repair pump and systems at Customer sites; including installation and start up.
• Use computer to look up Customers, research parts, diagram, schematic, and manuals online.
• Help maintain a clean and safe shop.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
