Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be available to work on an on-call basis in cases of emergency
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & manuals
Works well independently
Good communication skills & ability to work well with others
Excellent problem-solving skills
Great attention to detail
Good troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Upgrades/modernizes elevators & escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems.
Maintains and repairs elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment.
Responds to emergency calls and makes repairs quickly and efficiently.
Conducts safety audits and ensures that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
Stays current with advancements in elevator technology and industry regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
