Repair Technician- Electronics Manufacturing

Amphenol Ardent Concepts is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance multicoax and coaxial assemblies, connectors, and sockets used in the development of next generation semiconductors and electronics systems. Our core technology is the smallest, fastest, most electrically efficient compression mount connector technology worldwide. As data rate requirements increase and devices and systems shrink, Ardent's products deliver superior signal integrity in a dense footprint that can be reusable across programs to maximize cost savings. The Repair Technician will operate within the Service Department to offer superior customer service to our existing customers. Work to coordinate timely evaluations and repairs of failing product and warranty items to ensure minimum downtime of the customer; this will involve working with the Sales support staff to resolve technical customer issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1- 2 years' experience in manufacturing industry preferred
- Experience in a technician role working under a microscope with small components, using tweezers and vacuum pens is required
- High level of hand/eye coordination, Fine motor skills, Physical agility
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Experience reading manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Must be organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs
- This position requires access to controlled technology that is subject to US export controls. Qualified candidates must be a US Person (including US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) or eligible to obtain required authorization(s) from the U.S. Government

Responsibilities
- Test and inspect products or subassemblies for functionality and quality
- Repair and replace failing customer items in a timely manner, troubleshoot as necessary
- Document findings and create reports on these findings
- Coordinate returns internally and with the customer
- Work, communicate, and coordinate with Production Team on high volume and/or complex repairs
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
