About The Position

The Service & Repair Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of auto-teeing golf ball engines that incorporate both mechanical and electrical components. This role ensures equipment operates safely, reliably, and at peak performance for customers, while delivering a high standard of service and professionalism.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred.
2+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical service or repair.
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, sensors, motors, and power supplies.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Nice To Haves

Experience with automated machinery or electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with PLCs or motor controllers.
5S organizational knowledge

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues within auto-teeing golf ball systems.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
Test systems after repair or installation to confirm proper operation and compliance with specifications.
Identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
Document service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports.
Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, and customer support teams to resolve complex issues.
Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in a safe and professional condition.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
