About The Position

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be a member of a technically versatile team of engineers, analysts, and operational experts who are responsible for providing robust operational training to Marine Corps personnel. You’ll perform operational checks and maintenance of Live, Virtual, and Constructive training systems to include performing preventative maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems. You’ll support training in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment and develop maintenance processes to ensure geographically separated systems are maintained in compliance with current training requirements. You’ll maintain the virtual environment to facilitate large-scale training exercises, identify and track deficiencies to improve system functionality, and build and install new simulators and networks.

Requirements

  • Experience maintaining complex networked and distributed training systems.
  • Experience conducting basic maintenance repairs of electronic and mechanical training systems.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Live, Virtual, and Constructive training systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with a high-performing geographically dispersed team and vendors.
  • Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience with Tier I technical support, or 5+ years of experience with Tier I technical support in lieu of a degree.
