About The Position

The Pump Repair Technician at Anderson Process is a vital role that reports directly to the Service/Production Manager. This position is primarily responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, and testing of various types of pumps and pump systems that are sent in for repairs. The technician will troubleshoot pump and system issues, ensuring that all equipment is repaired to the highest standards. This role is essential in supporting the core values of Anderson Process, which include Growth, Expertise, Embrace Change, Teamwork, and Community. In this position, the technician will receive equipment for repair, determine the cause of failure, and list the necessary repair components. They will pull parts from stock, conduct repairs, and test the equipment for effectiveness, documenting all actions in an electronic repair log. The technician will also assist customers on-site with pump removal, installation, and startup, ensuring a seamless experience for the client. Proficiency in using computers to research parts, diagrams, schematics, and manuals online is required. Additionally, the ability to perform MIG welding for the fabrication of pump skids is a key responsibility. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is crucial, and the technician will be expected to load and unload trucks as part of their duties. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the service department.
