Job Description: We are looking for an Entry-Level Repair Technician to provide support to by performing basic repairs . You will repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches . You will be responsible for performing a variety of rail car repair related tasks and working in a TEAM environment, establishing good working relationships at all levels. Hourly rate: $24.75 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 AM

Requirements

• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as pneumatic and hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, welders, cutting torches, forklifts, and cranes.
• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn how to perform air brake test.
• The ability to work in adverse weather conditions .
• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance.
• Able to pass drug screen, physical.
