About The Position
Repair Tech B is responsible for identification and repairs of defects in boat surfaces.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year in boat manufacturing
- Skilled at using hand tools.
- Understand written and verbal instructions
- Safety conscious
- Attention to fine detail
- Light lifting, under 20 lbs.
- Light carrying, under 20 lbs.
- Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.
- Moderate carrying, 21 – 59 lbs.
- Straight pulling
- Pushing
- Repeated bending
- Reaching over shoulders
- Use of fingers
- Walking
- Standing
- Kneeling
- Repeated stretching
- Specific visual requirements
- Ability to distinguish basic colors
- Ability to distinguish shades of color

Responsibilities
- Inspects completed fiberglass boat bodies, hulls, and parts for defects and blemishes.
- Repairs boat body and hull defects by sanding, buffing, spraying, or dabbing.
- Works in team to physically move boats in the production area.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
