Union Tank Car Company (UTLX) is seeking applicants to be a Repair Supervisor at our full-service rail tank car repair shop in Cleveland, Texas. This position coordinates the operations of all production departments in the unit, ensuring that production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction. The incumbent supervises the activities of various hourly classifications in all phases of car repair work, ensuring the proper repair of railroad cars received at the shops in a safe and expeditious manner. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining AAR, DOT, and company standards by careful inspection of all completed work, which is critical in maintaining the company's high standards and good lessee relationships.
