Repair Station Induction Technician

About The Position

This position is for an MRO induction specialist who is responsible for unboxing incoming shipments to the repair station and entering orders accurately into SAP. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to multitask and communicate efficiently with coworkers, in induction, customer service and the repair station.

Employees with success in this role typically have a combination of the Prior customer service and/or troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (minimum of 12 months
Previous experience working with SAP
Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

Unbox incoming shipments and verify that the information provided on the purchase order matches the information on the part.
Responsible for the creation of repair orders in SAP. Entering specific customer requirements that can vary from both customer to customer and specific PO’s.
Maintain strong, open communication with co-workers, supervisor and manager.
Ability to work with moderate supervision as well as a member of a team.
Is mindful of and adheres to procedures, policies and regulations.
Functional knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
Highly productive and able to assess and execute next steps with minimal guidance or supervision.

Prioritize tasks and changes direction or adjusts approach in response to a rapidly changing environment.
Review all documentation related to customer orders to ensure all information is both complete and accurate, including: customer names, addresses, part numbers, and other specifications.
