The APU Trainee Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and testing Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), which includes the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components and accessories. This role involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and testing of components according to the repair station manual. The technician will apply technical knowledge of aircraft components to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation. They will utilize comprehensive technical expertise to resolve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints and manufacturer's manuals. The position requires making entries in work order documentation for all tasks performed and adhering to FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001:2016 Standards. Technical guidance will be provided by a supervisor or higher-level Technician as needed.
