About The Position

The Walling Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial pumps and rotating equipment. We're looking for someone with strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a related mechanical/electrical repair role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
Physically able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

Certification or training in a related trade or technical discipline.
Experience with inventory management systems or repair ticketing software.
Familiarity with Profit 21 ERP system.
Valid driver's license (for field service work).

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair pumps and related rotating equipment.
Disassemble, clean, and rebuild units; replace or adjust defective parts as needed.
Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
Perform technical services including start-ups, installations, and field repairs.
Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding repair status and recommendations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
Stay current with new products, repair methods, and technical updates.
