About The Position

As a Repair Order Coordinator, you will manage all company-owned repairable aircraft parts, overseeing repair orders from creation through completion. You’ll ensure accurate documentation, coordinate with technicians and vendors, monitor turnaround times and costs, and support inventory control to keep components compliant, traceable, and ready for use. May be required to work weekends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds
  • Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of standing.
  • Repair Order Processing Experience
  • Must have good computer skills, basic typing skills and experience in Excel and Word
  • Understands aircraft parts, systems, and maintenance terminology.
  • Works effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensures documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence
  • A current and valid Driver’s license is required.
  • Able to manage high-volume repair orders and deadlines.
  • Able to interpret repair documents, quotes, and technical data.

Responsibilities

  • Repair Order Management: Create, issue, and process repair orders (ROs) for components and materials requiring maintenance, overhaul, calibration, or repair.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with maintenance technicians, planners, and engineers to identify repair needs and prioritize requests based on operational demand.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure each repair order includes accurate part details, discrepancies, traceability information, and all required regulatory documentation.
  • Vendor Oversight: Monitor vendor quotes, turnaround times, costs, and warranty status to ensure effective processes and high-quality repair support.
  • Inventory Integration: Partner with inventory control to ensure repaired parts are properly received, stocked, and recorded for seamless operational use.
  • Exchange & Warranty Management: Assist in coordinating part exchanges and processing warranty claims to control costs and maintain fleet reliability.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Maintain awareness of vendor compliance with all applicable FARs and company GMM requirements.
  • Operational Knowledge: Apply experience with FAA Part 121, Part 135, or Part 145 environments to ensure proper repair standards are followed.
  • Airworthiness Documentation: Review and understand airworthiness release forms such as 8130-3 and EASA Form 1 to verify component eligibility and compliance.
