About The Position

Weatherford is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician I to perform hands-on tasks within our facilities, utilizing equipment, machinery, and systems to support the inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools. This entry-level role focuses on learning and applying basic techniques, procedures, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks under close supervision. Responsibilities include receiving tools, dismantling, and performing routine repairs and refurbishments, while strictly following technical manuals and established procedures. As an entry-level position, this role is developmental, with a focus on gaining practical experience and foundational skills in the Repair & Maintenance process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in related product line (MPD or BOP preferred)
• IPC certification
• #LI-KP1

Responsibilities

• Responsible for being familiar with Quality policies and taking an active role in compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System
• Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all business areas and continually seeking areas for improvement
• Assembles/disassembles product line tools as per procedure or Technical Work Instruction in accordance with Quality standards
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses issues with tools
• Implements mandatory modifications and/or preventive and corrective maintenance of tools/assets
• Conducts testing of tools/assets to ensure integrity of assemblies
• Monitors, records, sources and re-orders day-to-day spares and consumables associated with plant operations
