Summary: Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedures and manuals. General office duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned: · Improve work methods and tooling · Report any safety problems to management · Follow all environmental, health and safety policies · Keep work area clean and orderly · Manage ones own time efficiently · Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards · Read and answer email on a continuous basis · Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel · Intermediate use Visual MRP system · Responsible for planning, scheduling and releasing work orders for PSP department · Assist Contract Administrators with work order issue and modify work orders after evaluation · Determine if delivery dates can be met based on part stock · Place purchase orders for PSP department · Fill out purchase requisitions · Making tags for PSP department · Coordinate with outside vendors for part/component repairs · Check stock and place inter branch transfers · Compile, copy, sort and file records of office activities, add new materials to file records, and create new records as necessary · Operate office machines, such as scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, personal computers and machines used for tags · Maintain and update filing and databases, either manually and/or electronically. · Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria or chronological, alphabetical or numerical order. · Wearing the proper safety equipment

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions, basic business writing skills, good communication skills required
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear and see. Repetitive movement is also required.
  • Must be compliant with FAA Manual vision test and color blindness test.
  • The employee is required to sit, walk, stoop, bend and move about in an office area/shop area.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • The employee must regularly lift, move, push, and/or carry up to 25lbs occasionally lift, move, push, and/or carry up to 50lbs, and rarely lift, move, push, and/or carry up to 100lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust and focus
  • Employee will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
