About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to perform blend repair recontouring, deburring, removal of residual coating, and disassembly of turbine components

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• It is expected to take 6 months maximum to become proficient in all the job responsibilities.
• Experience working in an industrial environment.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Responsibilities

• Use of documentation (quality documentation / records (Travelers and Forms)) / etc.
• Use and maintain blending tools and equipment, including large belt sanders and die grinders
• Route defects and blend turbine components to original contour
• Operate stand-up blast cabinets and perform daily PM.
