About The Position

The Repair and Maintenance (R&M) Manager at Weatherford is responsible for overseeing all operations within the R&M Facility located in Odessa, TX or El Reno, OK. This role involves providing direction, planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The R&M Manager will work towards achieving key performance indicators and operational demands through the implementation of global R&M standards and compliance with safety and quality policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 10+ years in R&M or manufacturing.
• 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing or R&M setting with a focus on productivity improvement.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with multiple direct reports.
• Legally authorized to work in the assigned location.
• Experience overseeing multiple facilities.

Nice To Haves

• Fundamental Lean Training and knowledge of lean principles.
• Strong understanding of the oil & gas industry.
• Experience in a multi-product line plant serving international customers.
• Ability to interact in languages relevant to the local plant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly Hazard Hunts to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Align operations with Weatherford & Industry Quality policies and GPL standards.
• Manage cross-functional relationships to support effective use of resources and drive productivity.
• Oversee planning and scheduling of production to meet on-time delivery expectations.
• Implement continuous improvement activities incorporating Lean concepts.
• Drive effective communication with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage budgets and control expenditures to remain within financial expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise R&M employees, fostering talent management.
