About The Position

Twin City Foods is a leading Frozen Vegetable Producer committed to deliver high-quality, nutritious, and sustainably sourced frozen vegetables to consumers worldwide. With a focus on innovation, quality assurance, and responsibility, we have established ourselves as a key player in the frozen food industry. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Repack Production Manager to support our Production operations and contribute to our continued growth. The Repack Production Manager will report to the Plant Manager and support operations at our Ellensburg, WA plant. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of packaging capabilities/volumes and a background in IQF packaging, warehousing, shipping, and DOT regulations.

Requirements

  • High School education required; Associates or BS degree preferred.
  • Certification in Food Safety and/or Production Management is a plus.
  • Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, BRC).
  • OSHA 24 Hr. Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry involving production scheduling.
  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the food industry or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge of packaging capabilities/volumes and a background in IQF packaging, warehousing, shipping, and DOT regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, correspondences, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with automated packaging equipment and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and inventory management.
  • Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with audits, including the preparation of supporting documentation and liaison with external auditors.
  • Process purchase orders, purchase order receipts and process vendor invoices.
  • Provide support to operations in analysis of potential capex.
  • Assist with month end/year end close.
  • Process new vendor requests for setup in ERP.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, procurement, and sales, to gather and analyze financial information.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.
  • Other special projects and/or duties as assigned.
