About The Position

Are you a hands-on problem solver looking for a stable career in food manufacturing? We are seeking a Repack Operator Trainee to join a dynamic production team in Ponder, TX. As a Trainee, you will learn to master the setup and operation of specialized packaging machinery in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Up to one month of related industrial experience or training is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
Ability to work comfortably in cold environments (often below 40°F and occasionally below 0°F) and wet/humid conditions.
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and reach.
Lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds .
Steel-toe boots are required (Uniform: Jeans, T-shirt, and steel-toe boots).
Strict adherence to safety protocols and hearing/reacting to safety alarms.
A background check is required (Public Data).
No repetitive or violent offenses will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Assemble, disassemble, and set up the Repak machine for daily production.
Manage forming molds and perform film changes to ensure continuous operation.
Conduct rejection checks and troubleshoot general machine malfunctions.
Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a safe workspace around moving mechanical parts.
