The right Rentals Team Lead will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. The Rentals Team Lead is responsible for daily operating leadership, management and support to the Rental site operations for assigned locations, ensuring established goals are met. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must possess strong motivational and servant leadership skills
  • Must be able to critically process situations and react quickly while using good judgment
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be willing to adapt to changes, policies, and procedures
  • Able to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employees

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of the business as assigned to achieve the company objectives of financial goals for revenue and expenses, Guest experience, and Host satisfaction and care
  • Manage plans for the ongoing development of Hosts within the assigned area of responsibility. This includes training, coaching, correction, growth opportunities, and positive discipline of the front-line workforce
  • Ensure specific daily operating competencies are managed effectively, and consistently reinforced. Examples of competencies include, but are not limited to: sales skills, guest relations skills consistent with company standards, and basic hardware/software maintenance and trouble shooting
  • Effectively execute business strategies created by Management
  • Maintain site budget for assigned location
  • Troubleshoot, communicate and resolve equipment and technical issues
  • Lead and motivate an effective sales team
  • Participate in meetings with leadership as appropriate, with the goal of constantly reviewing and improving the business
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ensure proper flow of communication among all leadership levels regarding significant dates, events, meetings, etc
  • Cultivate a team culture of enthusiasm, respect, teamwork, collaboration, transparency, team development, empowerment, learning, and embracing of growth
  • Comply with, support, and ensure photo team compliance with all department and park specific policies, legal requirements, standards, procedures, and initiatives
  • Maintain sales and cash flow records in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property procedures, as well as Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards
  • Perform job duties of Team Member role as necessary
  • Follow All Host Safety Standards and General Safety Training guidelines and use associated injury prevention measures
  • Suspend operations when continuation would be inconsistent with Safety Standards or Procedures or presents a safety hazard to Guests or Hosts Leads and oversee front-line workers using the company’s Lead with Love principles, resulting in teamwork, a well-functioning daily operation and timely resolution of conflicts and complications
