About The Position

The Rentals Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the rental of equipment for day-to-day operations. This role involves overseeing the inventory, ensuring timely delivery and return of rental equipment, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in equipment rental coordination, preferably in the oilfield industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and rental management software.
  • Knowledge of oilfield equipment and operations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer project needs and recommend the right equipment and accessories.
  • Responsible for tracking, reviewing and approving vendor invoicing
  • Create, review, and finalize rental quotes, reservations, and contracts accurately.
  • Build strong customer relationships while supporting the Rental Department and Outside Sales team.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs including customer satisfaction, rental utilization, and conversion rates.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally and effectively.
  • Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries, and returns with dispatch, service, and operations team.
  • Inspect equipment upon return for damage, fuel levels, service and usage hours.
  • Assist in ordering parts and service to ensure equipment remains rental-ready.
  • Monitor inventory and flag equipment for maintenance, relocation, or disposal.
  • Maintain accurate records in the rental system, including contracts, billing, maintenance logs, and return documentation.
  • Use rental software to track inventory, process transactions, and manage customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in training new employees and sharing best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
